MagZine Theme Instalation Guide
MagZine is a magazine styled wordpress theme that so easy to use and configure. See the live action in: http://designmagz.com. MagZine is a free wordpress theme as long as the footer signature remain.
Instalation:
1. Unzip the MagZine.zip then, you will get a folder named “MagZine” insine MagZine folder beside Readme.txt file
2. Upload folder “MagZine” into wp-content/theme at your Web server.
3. Activate the theme within yoursite.com/wp-admin, select Appereance Menu > Theme and then select MagZine to activate.
4. You are ready to roll.
Usage
MagZine Version 1.0.1 got a theme option now, so you don’t need to be hasle editing functions.php. All editable within your WordPress Administration page.
To generate a thumbnail, just upload any images to the related post, you don’t have to insert your image into the post if it doesnt necessary, uploading an image is MANDATORY!. Otherwise, you will get an error message:

Plugin Recommendation
Though the MagZine theme will running well without this plugin installed, for better experience, i suggest you install the get-image plugin by DGmike:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/get-image/
after the plugins installed, go to wp-admin > setting > media, and change the thumbnail size to: 50 by 50.
Widget Area
This theme got 2 widget area, home widget, and detail widget. Change them on wp-admin > Appearance > Widget.
Replacing Image
You can replace the main image with your own image. Replace banner.jpg inside images/ folder inside MagZine Theme Folder.
Copyright Removal
For Copyright Removal, please donate for the author of this theme, with minimum of $29. Click the button below to donate and remove copyright / signature.
Instalation Support
If you have a problem installing this theme, post it on the comment here, I will reply it or anyone does. If you want me to install it on your web server, contact me, it takes couple of bucks as compensation of my time.
As I said at Weblog Tools Collection, this has got to be the crispest and cleanest mag-style theme I’ve ever seen. Nice work!
One thing that I think would really enhance it is some type of tabbed interface for the right sidebar (DOMTabs, MooTabs or some such thing) to showcase popular posts, comments or whatever.

Hi PupungBP. Been playing around with this theme all night on a local install and it’s a pleasure to work with.
Further to my suggestion of a tabbed interface, I whipped something up quickly using DOMtabs. Additionally, I thought the large image on the home page would be a perfect place for one of those neat javascript powered slider boxes. After my quick mods I uploaded the theme from my local install to a live test site. You can see what your great theme looks like at test.riteturnonly.com
This hasn’t been tested on all browsers or resolutions as it is still a work in progress.

The only issue that i have is that i cannot make the slideshow to show up.
Under the Theme manager i activated the slideshow, but nothing happens, i have the jpeg’s with the same name and in the same folder.

I think this is really good theme. One thing i was concerened while building up new blog is theme. But this one has saved a time and its unique one.

hi, i am having problems with the thumbnail posts. for some reason it is working for some of my posts, but not all. what am i doing wrong? i also tried to install the getimage plugin and nothing changed.

Loved it, but please take note that it does not work with WordPress 2.8. I had trouble with assigning my category when I decided to downgrade my WordPress and voila! It worked again.

Although, I have a problem with the feature section on the left… I want it to show a list of the same category as the main section. But when I choose in the admin panel the same category for both main and Feature, then nothing appears on the left…
